An off day; no tourism.

Wow, what an exciting day.

- Got the oil changed and the car stereo fixed (when we replaced the battery, it went into its anti-theft code lockdown, grrrr). All is well.

- Cleaned the car. No more huge red dirt clumps in the wheel wells. Yay. Still kind of grungy and dusty inside but I think I might steal some towels from the room, dip 'em in the pool, and give it a complete wipedown tomorrow.

- Went to K-mart and bought underwear, socks, and a few other things.

- Dan picked up his PhotoCDs from K-mart as well - in 24 hours, they processed his film and made CDs. Pretty damned impressive.

- Stopped by the tourist center to figure out where to go next - we have dinner reservations at Uluru next Saturday night, so it looks like the West MacDonnels until then.

- Had a date milkshake just south of town. They're far, far better in Indio (California). Still, cheap at twice the price, considering.

- Had a big blowout at Liquorland - they have a 21% off sale to celebrate their anniversary, so I got a six-pack for less than $90, including a vertical of d'Arenberg 'The Footbolt' shiraz, and some other goodies. Go me!

- Gave myself a haircut. Still the prettiest!
