Bánh mì San Diego

One of the goals I've set myself in 2008 is to find delicious food near our house in North Park. Tonight, we're headed over to a friend's house to play ROCK BAND and I'm set to bring some bánh mì - these are Vietnamese sandwiches that have a pronounced tendency to be both utterly delicious and ridiculously cheap.

So, here's the short list of some places to check out - the last two aren't near our house, but I've been to K Sandwiches and it was pretty good, if a little bit Westernized (which isn't necessarily a bad thing - I went to a joint in San José with mamoosh that didn't even have an English menu (just a picture book), and the food there was memorably difficult (especially the crunchy shrimp shells in my rice cakes - but at least I didn't have the congealed blood soup or whatever the hell it was that Matthew ordered).

Anyhow, if you live in San Diego and you know your Vietnamese sandwiches, I'd love it if you could recommend some other places!
