Longest plane trip: SFO-HKG (but really DUS-LAX, stuck in the smoking section, with a refuelling stop in Winnipeg)

Shortest plane trip: LAX-SAN

Road trips from coast-to-coast: At least 5, inc. Pacific-Indian road trip in Australia

Future plans: Kanaky / New Caledonia in 2 weeks, Bali in October, Armenia in 2004, Central Asia in 2007
