This Sunday, Sept. 30, is the annual Aids walk here in sunny San Diego.
bearringsd, danlmarmot, kingfuraday, sluggobear, and others are gonna slog it 5km around Balboa Park to raise money for Aids. That is, to raise money to prevent Aids and care for those who are living with HIV. Just wanted to make that perfectly clear.We've raised over 85% of our donation goal of $2,000, but it's up to you folks to put us over the top. Please give generously and I'll even reward you with absolutely nothing - giving is its own reward, as they say. Plus, as Brian sez, large amounts of donated cash'll help kill Aids quicker, which is definitely a good thing in my book.
