omg! Not as dumb as I remember

One of the more pleasant surprises in recent weeks has been finding out that my college career isn't quite as awful as I remember it. Up until I received my transcript last week, I was convinced that I just barely graduated from university - but as luck would have it, I actually got a 2.99 GPA. Yeah, frustrating that they didn't just round up to 3.0, but it's my own damn fault for enrolling in Self-Paced Calculus and then never actually going to class. Duh.

Here are the high points from my college transcripts (who knew?)

English 176: Lit & Pop Culture: A [Wasn't this taught by cbertsch's thesis advisor or something?]
German 165: German Area Studies: A [I think this was a course on Weimar era cinema?]
English 117S: Shakespeare: A [Unbelievable. I mean, I don't even like Shakespeare. I credit the then-futuristic use of full text search on a Complete Works of Shakespeare CD-ROM performed on Windows 3.0 with Multimedia Extensions.]

The only other As I got were in a bunch of German grammar, composition, and conversation classes. Still, hot damn! Nice to say I actually got an A in Pop Culture at Berkeley. w00t!
