Tom Price is a mining town way out in the middle of nowhere; we passed through it on our way towards the coast from Karijini National Park. We had planned on staying the night at Nanutarra Roadhouse, but they were fully booked, so we pressed on to Exmouth, killing a kangaroo [for the first time] in the process. It was the first and last time we drove at night.
