http://www.marmot.net/home [warning, this only displays correctly in Windows IE because I'm not superfantastic with CSS!]
Here are approximations [these are screen shots and will not display correctly on some LCD displays due to ClearType getting in the way, alas]:
I still need to do the back labels, but they'll also be generated similarly:
1. Go to http://glass.typepad.com/mobile/
2. Copy source HTML and CSS to my own server
3. Steal Wolfgang Tillmans images from the Internet
4. Using Microsoft Paint and Microsoft FrontPage, assemble into something I like
5. Save and ignore compatibility problems.
The idea behind this label project is - to me, at least - to come up with a monthly artist's edition of wine, more or less. The idea is very small bottlings of obscure one-offs that are very near and dear to a particular winemaker [not pictured: Rainer Lingenfelder does a private reserve Scheurebe, for example] combined with me paying Chris Glass to take a picture [or Brodie Chree, time permitting]. This results in a unique, really interesting bottle of wine combined with an art edition label that is highly collectible; costs on these would be $40 upwards [to about $120 for the most expensive ones in the series - say, a limited edition one barrel bottling of a Tim Kirk shiraz].
