Happy ten year anniversary MSN

Ten years ago today, Windows 95, Internet Explorer, and MSN were first made available to the public.

Me, I was working for Apple at the time. Although I was kind of amused by Apple's ads, I also knew damn well that Windows 95 was the beginning of the end for Apple as we knew it. All of their smarmy marketing ["looks like a duck, quacks like a duck!"] couldn't hide the fact that Windows 95 was by and large System 7's equal - and far in advance in some other respects [stability, preemptive multitasking, accessibility].

Some pretty bleak years followed.
