One last titbit from Tucson.

Charlie just asked me what "The Cat in the Hat" is in German, but I don't know. Even stranger, shows absolutely no books whatsoever by Dr. Seuss in German, but 223 or so in English. What's up with this? Can it be that there are no books by Dr. Seuss in German?

update (with thanks to Google!)

Well, there would appear to be exactly one book available in German - a two in one volume containing The Cat in the Hat and A Wocket In My Pocket. Not only that, it was only very recently published, and by a press that only sells through about ten stores in Germany. Now that's weird!
