Let's see. Dylan makes an unfinished 54-minute film that never saw commercial release... and it's as good as, oh, Alphaville or La Chinoise. Would you agree that this is a fair assessment?
Last weekend, I briefly saw a screen on the TV that said "Best Movie Musical or Comedy" [I've since figured out that this is the Golden Globes we're talking about here]. Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind was listed as one of the nominees. As you may recall, this is a movie that reduces me to uncontrollable, racking sobs. I can't remember any musical numbers, and I don't think the movie was a comedy... did I miss something here? If Jim Carrey is in a movie, does it automatically make it a comedy?
BestBuy.com has been telling me for a few hours that I can't place an order for a new washer and dryer because "[their] special delivery system could not be found." Oddly enough, the site used to work fine when it was running on Microsoft Commerce Server - but IBM convinced them last summer that they need to spend a couple hundred million dollars to "upgrade" to some Java solution. [I'm using Firefox, BTW, so there's no way I can blame Microsoft for their site sucking so hard.]
