Error. Error. Error.

I finally broke down and bought an Oval CD* in Cologne. On the back, it says "This Cd is not playable on Computers (CD-Rom)", and I didn't take it seriously. But... lo and behold, my computer can't read it.

Is this one of those newfangled CDs I've heard about, the ones that the record companies have induced errors on so that CD ROM drives can't read them? If so, yea, verily, this sucks.
