QSF

Sometimes, I'm surprised to learn new things. Today's new thing: QSF. For years, I was aware of catchall IATA codes to cover large metropolitan areas with more than one airport: CHI, NYC, WAS, LON etc. However, I didn't know that the San Francisco Bay Area also has its own code: QSF. Handy!

Better yet, it looks like QLA is a valid code as well.

Of course, now that I live in a one-airport town, all of this is purely academic. :)
