It's good to play together.

Last night, at sinnabor's urging, I finally figured out how to get my Xbox online. Turns out moving my PC to the living room has been beneficial in more ways than one. Here's what I did:

- Connected a crossover cable from the PC's Ethernet port to the Xbox's Ethernet port
- On the PC, opened up the Network Connections window
- Selected the 802.11b and Ethernet connections
- Right-clicked on that and selected Bridge
- Rebooted the Xbox

...et voilá, the Xbox recognized the network connection. Cool! After entering my credit card details and such, I now have an Xbox Live subscription.

Update: See http://groups.msn.com/XboxB for more info.

So... what next? Brian and I played some Midtown Madness 3 last night, which was pretty fun. He's getting a headset today; it was a little weird not being able to hear him over the Xbox Live connection. But I'm pretty sure some of you guys have Xbox Live - what're the most interesting games? Anybody wanna join us online?
