I switched.

As my Windows XP PC is no more - it's now the Media Center PC - I've switched to a dual 1.25 GHz G4 as my primary desktop computer. It's been a few years since I've used a Mac full time.

The beast is running OS X 10.3.3, and I can hear its whine loud and clear even though I've got headphones on with every volume control turned up as far as it will go.

At least I can run EarthDesk now. Now, if only I could figured out how to compile xscreensaver...
