Let the changes begin.

It looks like Lufthansa are pulling out entirely from Stansted airport, and it also looks like bmi british midland are no longer flying to Cologne from Stansted. This would probably explain the disappearence of my itinerary from - I had bought a ticket to Cologne from Stansted on 29th November, and now it's been replaced by an ominous screen with red lettering. Please call us. Your Request Cannot Be Completed. The status of your flight has changed. Please call us at 0870 050 0808 or from outside the UK on +44 116 261 8251 (usual costs apply).

Dan's tweaked the firewall (= disabled it) so that I can call out using Net2Phone - it's 9.9 cents a minute, as opposed to the $2 that Sprint charge. Yay Sprint. Weirdly enough, though, new customers to Net2Phone pay half as much - I spent 21 cents calling my own phone number to see if the software was working, even though their Web site claims that the first five minutes of any domestic US call are free. The bastards. Still, they saved me enough money on just one phone call to Moldova in 1998 that I hardly care if I'm paying 5 or 10 cents a minute to the UK.

Fifteen more minutes and I can finally get on the horn to Expedia and see what's up...
