I gave at the office. Seriously.

One of my favorite employee perks here at Microsoft is this: If you donate money to charity, Microsoft will match it 100%. They'll also pay for all the overhead incurred by donating money, e.g. the cost of getting the money to the charity in question. As a result, it's nice to know that any money you give away will both be doubled and not incur any charges for the recipient.

So, thanks to the magic of automatic payroll deductions and Microsoft matching, the Marmot Recovery Project will get $480 from me next year. This makes me happy.
