¿Que pasa?

For some strange reason, I'm seeing Spanish language banner ads all over the Web lately.

What's going on? Is some tracking-cookie ad house mistaking me for a Chicano? Or has someone out there somewhere decided that more people will click on ads for McGriddles and the US Army if the ads are in a foreign language?

[I didn't really want to say foreign language, given the large numbers of Spanish speakers in the USA, but I don't know. "In a language other than English" sounds possibly even more wrong. Hm.]
