Atacama

First media sighting...

... of the product that I've been working on for about a year now:

This is the first time I've heard the word BlackBerry mentioned in the same breath as Magneto, by the way; it's kind of strange reading that your product's designed strictly as a "BlackBerry killer" - but whatever, the part I work on is totally irrelevant to BlackBerry devices. It's Pocket MSN, and if you're coincidentally both a Windows Mobile and a Hotmail user, then you should be moderately excited by this, as it's the best way I've seen to get your mail on your phone [well, as good as MSN Mobile Premium for BREW, but I don't know anyone with a Verizon phone that can run that software].

Anyhow... off to work.

Two cool things: the people I work with and RSS

You probably haven't used it - I mean, why would you? - but MSN now has something called MSN Spaces, which essentially means blogs for Hotmail and MSN users. Some of my coworkers now have blogs thanks to our work on the mobile components of MSN Spaces - for example, our dev lead Dave, whose office is next to mine. I've added him to my LJ friends list via the MSN Spaces RSS feed:

Check out his most recent post. I think it's pretty cool. :)
