Hell just froze over, sort of

Gates announced Internet Explorer 7.0, designed to add new levels of security to Windows XP SP2 while maintaining the level of extensibility and compatibility that customers have come to expect. Internet Explorer 7.0 will also provide even stronger defenses against phishing, malicious software and spyware. The beta release is scheduled to be available this summer.

Hm, I don't see anything about tabs.

In the meantime, might as well download Firefox:

A gentle reminder, dear reader

kdotdammit said something in her blog today that best expressed my feelings about my writing here on LiveJournal:

"I am working on writing 'a' story, a good story, an entertaining story, an exciting and dark story. But not my story."

Similarly, not everything you're reading in this blog is necessarily "me." Here and there, facts have been embellished, details have been fudged; all in all, it's mostly true but please do bear in mind that this is a performance, not a diary.

In the meantime, thanks to you all for writing consistently entertaining entries, thanks for reading, and [most importantly] thanks for keeping the Valentine's Day pity party / I luv my honey bucket stuff to a minimum [those of you on my friends list who indulged actually came across as sincere and honest, and I thought it was cool. Yes, this means you, Brian, Mark, Richard, and Tim.]
