Bad coffee

This morning, I had hazelnut coconut coffee with fortified soy milk.

That was the most disgusting thing I've had to eat so far in 2005.

[The coffee was a Christmas present from my brother-in-law and his fiancée, whom I think the world of - I'm sorry I didn't like it. Don't you hate it when you get a really nice Christmas present that just isn't right for you?]

However, I've just noticed coffee that I think is even more disgusting:

That's right! You too can give to a Christian charity - World Vision - in a transparent bid by perennial also-ran coffee company Tully's to gain market share! It's both exploiting tragedy for corporate gain AND spreading Christianity to the heathen Moslems of Indonesia!

*shudder*

Man, I cannot wait to get to Raging Sage tomorrow.

Again: Yay for the Internet

In 2002, it was amazingly difficult to get a ticket to the Sydney Mardi Gras party. It involved finding a wee office somewhere near Redfern, wads of cash, and a lot of hassle.

In 2005, all I had to do was fill out a Web form and now I've got tickets to this year's party.

Should be fun, I'm hoping!
