There's an interesting question.

Thanks to haenck, I searched a few news sites this morning for news on last night's bomb blasts in Kuta, Bali. As luck would have it, the bomb that reportedly killed at least 10 people went off in a nightclub just over one block away from our hotel. This of course brings me to wonder if our hotel was damaged in the ensuing fires, or if we really should be going at all.

The question of the day.

In short, do we go to Bali or not? A lot of information I'd need to make a decision isn't available until tomorrow afternoon - for example, I don't know if flights are still on for next Wednesday, if our hotel was damaged by the blast (it's about 400 meters away), and so on.

If the hotel is damaged and there are no flights, then what? We've got nonrefundable tickets to Perth, but I don't want to go back to Perth for ten days. And if we stay in Melbourne, well, the thing that would make the most sense would be to head back up to Sydney and get ready to go home by the end of the month - but, then, we wouldn't get to see our buddies flying over for the Gay Games.

Aaaargh! So many unanswerable questions. I hate big decisions.
