UNESCO World Heritage

It seems Dan and I have been to more World Heritage sites than we'd though - several were inscribed as such after we'd visited, such as the churches of Chiloé*, in Chile, the Bungle Bungles in Australia, and the streets of Valparaiso, also in Chile. Looking even further down the list, it appears we were also ahead of the curve in having visited New Lanark, Scotland and the Royal Botanic Gardens at Kew long before they made the cut.

* ObDentalTrivia: I have a small bit of tooth missing from one of my two front teeth. I lost in while enjoy a bowl of seafood stew in Chiloé - Dan and I were sitting across the street from the church, and I wasn't paying careful attention to its contents. I believe a mussel shell was responsible for that. [Even more useless trivia: the other time I chipped off part of a tooth was back in 1990. I was trying to repair my Swatch. I should've used a pliers instead of my teeth.]
