A project for the house.

When I was at the Kröller-Müller Museum in August 2001, I saw this thing in their gardens:

That's right, I saw this thing there.

Looking out over the yard here at the house, I think it'd be cool to try to reproduce this here. All I need is a tree of some kind as well as an insane amount of lumber.


OK, so maybe it's not very practical. God knows it'd probably all fall over at the first sign of wind up here. And I never did find out who the artist was or what the piece was called. I still wonder if the lumber was made out of the same kind of tree that's inside the cage. But I do know that I really enjoy looking at this picture.
