Which reminds me...

I finally found the one big deal killer wrt the iPod: apparently there's no way to stop it from inserting a one second gap between tracks as it plays. This means it won't work with that one Melvins album, and would of course irritate the hell out of my whenever I listen to Euro-disco stuff [think Paul van Dyk et al] that runs everything together in one big mix. Drat.

Oh, and it won't play WMA.

Anyone have suggestions on a portable music playing device that could solve these two problems? Oh, and it's gotta use USB 2.0 as well.
