I probably work in computers, or a history department at a liberal arts college. I never really fit in with the "normal" crowd, but I can if I want to. And I've got friends, which is a good thing.
In short, although I can use Linux, I don't because I have a cocktail party to flit off to in a bit. I don't have the time it takes to really get XFree86 working, so instead I use Windows XP. I also prefer buying bookshelves at Ikea instead of computer desks, and I've always been careful to never own more than one computer at any given time. I also have interests that have nothing to do with computers, such as wine and Soviet architecture. :)
