The sun sets.

I've just put in the third load of laundry, and the oven is warming up [mmm, calzones!]. And as I watch the sun setting tonight, I can't help but think that this is an end of an era for me. Tomorrow's my first day at the new job, and definitely the last day of my own personal dot com era. I joined Netscape before it was acquired by AOL, I shipped the first commercial browser built on Mozilla, I cashed in my stock options, and I had a hell of a wonderful time down under with Dan [and Julian and Seumas and André and Neville and and and]. But that's over now, I'm going back to work, looking forward to getting my testing chops back, looking forward to seeing a lot of the old gang back together again, looking forward to an actual income for the first time since 2001. Life is good.
