Last one for the night.

Coupla days back, I was chatting with a buddy who seemed irritated that a friend of mine didn't lead an obviously "out" life. Today, I happened across this quote:

But the possibility that Motown's musicians didn't revel in their blackness because they sought to transcend race altogether is seldom considered.

I think that expresses what I was trying to say much better. Sometimes I think ours is the first generation of gay people who were able to live a "normal" life and enjoy our sexuality without being forced to have it completely define who we are.
