Fun with computers.

Well, it's the New Year, and I find I'm back in front of my PC getting it all shinily oiled for the New Year. Thing is, though, I'm having a bitch of a time trying to get all of my E-mail together. It's always bothered me that I only have fragmentary E-mail records, and the more I think about it, the more likely it is that this will never change.

As of right now, I have some E-mail from between 11/25-12/25/2002, today and yesterday, and 6/11-7/14/2001. That's all. This irks me. But maybe I can salvage some more.

You know, it'd be great if E-mail applications could export into a simple format that any E-mail program could easily read. I've long since given up on trying to resurrect QuickMail messages circa 1995, but it would be a lot easier if there were a way to pull together crap from five or so E-mail mail stores into one single database. Ah well.
